Our Story
The meaning behind our name
Mambo is a word derived from Swahili which refers to Hello how are you, how are things. That is why our tagline is “Your hello matters to us!” Mambo also means King or royalty in Shona. We pride ourselves on treating every single client with the outmost respect and care.

We cannot thank the Mambo team enough your care and support! Jennifer was involved in a bad accident and had to adjust to life in a wheelchair ever since. It was a nightmare and as her sister i really struggled with supporting her because i didn’t know how to best help. Things thankfully got better when NDIS was approved and we were able to get the right support for her. The staff at Mambo Services were so friendly and made everything so easy. To get help with daily living, housekeeping and other tasks made all the difference. I can finally just enjoying spend time with my sister.

To say my life has changed is an under statement. Thanks to Mambo Services i feel happy again and living a vibrant life that is not limited by my illness or ability to do things. Everything changed when i was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis. I lost my vision, was in pain at times with a crippling fatigue. I also had some cognitive impairment and reduced mobility which meant i couldn't do anything from simple tasks like making a meal or driving. It's made a huge difference getting support where i need it the most and I'm happy to say I've been able to get some independence back.
